Vector Control Modules (VCM’s) serve as image processors for any of CANTY’s applications requiring analysis. These units are built as a turnkey solution to ensure the most convenient and simple startup for a camera system. VCM’s can power camera systems using power over Ethernet (POE) and come pre-loaded with application specific software to best serve your needs. With three different families of models, CANTY provides a variety of VCM’s to fit the needs of your installation. See our product brochure for additional information!
The CANTY Molten Glass Level system consists of a high temperature surveillance camera, mounted to view the surface of the molten glass through an opening in the wall. On the wall directly opposite the camera, a reference point is created, often by simply removing a brick from the wall, or boring a hole though it. The position of the reflection of this reference point on the surface of the glass relative to the fixed mount camera, is directly related to the molten glass level. CantyVision™ software is configured to track the position of this reflection with accuracy to 0.001” (0.025mm). A cross-hair is displayed on the operator screen image at all times, to allow the user to visually verify what point is begin tracked by the software. Control outputs are available to the DCS via OPC, 4-20mA and Modbus TCP/IP.
A camera light combination system is mounted to the centrifuge using the CANTY angled mounting plate. This allows for continuous monitoring from the control room, of initial product filling, the various washing and spinning cycles, and product discharge, therefore enabling greater operator control and efficient identification of any process issues. In the control room, the Vector™ image processing computer will analyze this view and provide a 4-20mA or OPC output of fill level, filtering level, and a separate cake (solids) detection signal. The level control allows for consistent batching to the centrifuge. The cake detection 4-20mA or OPC output signal provides for immediate detection of solids, which prevent the cake from cracking. This means higher product yield due to fewer washes, and ultimately better product quality.
CANTY fiber optic lighting systems have been designed to provide efficient, high output LED light in a cost effective package. CANTY uses only high quality, flexible fiber optic light pipes to guide the light from our light source through a sight glass or process connection. The light is elliptically focused into the fiber optic light pipe and guided through the sight glass minimizing losses while maximizing your tank or vessel lighting!
CANTY particle sizing analyzers have been engineered to offer the user a means by which a liquid is analyzed while under varying pressures, temperatures and flow rates. It offers sample or continuous, microscopic, non-destructive viewing and provides particle size analysis with two dimensional results when used in conjunction with the CantyVisionClient™ Software. The vision system, with integral lighting, features precision optics designed to enhance the image prior to display or analysis. The analyzer utilizes a high resolution / high speed CCD/CMOS image sensor coupled to a microscopic lens system. The system offers zoom and focus ability, variable lighting, and multiple objective lens packages to cover a range of sizes. CANTY particle sizing systems feature a FUSEVIEW glass window that acts as a product contact barrier. Our unique fused glass windows far exceed all other glass windows in safety and performance allowing for high pressure ratings.
Features:
• No loss of glass over time • Scratches do not affect safety or life • Unlike competitors glass, no cracks
